ROCKWOOD PADDLE & POT LUCK – SEPT 24TH

Tuesday, September 24 is our annual paddle at Rockwood Conservation Area.  After the canoeing on the lovely lake, surrounded by high limestone cliffs, grottos and narrow passages, we will enjoy a pot luck supper and wiener roast (the wieners, buns and condiments are provided by the club).
Please bring a dish of your choice to share for the pot luck.
Remember to bring your usual canoeing gear, drinks, a lawn chair, cutlery, dishes, wiener sticks, if you have them.
If you have any wood for the bonfire, that would be appreciated as well.
Meet at the shed at 2pm. Cost for towing is $6.00, entrance to the park is $5.50 for seniors.
For those who would prefer to hike, there is a lovely hiking trail around the lake.
The forecast for Tuesday is a mix of sun and clouds, high 19 low 10.  Always check your email before heading for the shed, in case of cancellation should weather conditions change.
