Reminder that Tuesday, October 1st, rain or shine, the Regatta is at the Laurel Creek Conservation at 625 Westmount Rd N, Waterloo
Meet at the shed (Wing 404) at 10:00 AM. From there we will share rides to the park. This way we can use a limited number of cars due to the cost of the park entrance.
When there is no attendant at the gate the entrance fee is $14 per car payable by credit card, no cash. With 4 or 5 people in the car the cost will be less than $4 per person.
If you have a park pass, meet us in the park at the beach area, at 10:30AM
There is no towing charge for the outing.
Â
EVERYONE IS WELCOME, whether you come to canoe on the lake or to walk on the trails, just come out to socialize and to play fun water games and land games Â
Bring a dish you like to share for the POTLUCK, also your own beverage, plate and cutlery.
Remember to bring your PFD and the rest of your canoe gear, if you plan to canoe.
Weather forecast for Tuesday: Temperature will be warm with a chance of rain. In case of rain we will have the potluck lunch and land games under the shelter.
The Regatta marks the end of the canoe seasons, but not the end of club’s fun activities.
