It is with sadness that we announce that Bob Dick died on December 21, 2021. Bob loved the outdoors and was a perfect match when he joined the Old Salts in 2009.
He was a skillful canoeist, a biker and a hiker. He knew every river and trail and loved to share his knowledge. Any hike he led turned into a fun adventure.  As a valuable member of the club, he introduced many new canoe outings and walking/biking trails as well as modernizing/computerizing our bookkeeping system. He will be missed!

I had the pleasure to mini golf with Bob a few years in a row, and Bob will be sorrily missed, and remember he won a few of the mini golf tournaments with the best score plus best prize.

A while back when I became Treasurer, Bob kindly showed me the ropes. He had taken the books and and transferred them to an excel spreadsheet that we use to this day. He was very patient during my learning curve. He was a great asset to the Club and will be missed.
