Pond Training Details & Update

Due to the weather advisory for later today and the gusty winds and possible snow/rain forcasted for tomorrow, pond training has been cancelled for Tuesday, April 19th. If you haven’t already done so, please sign up for the remaining sessions.  See details below…….
When:  Tuesday April 19 (cancelled), Thursday April 21, Tuesday April 26, Thursday April 28 ( new members should attend a minimum of one Tuesday and one Thursday practise) 1 ~ 4 p.m.
Where:   Victoria St. Pond – J. A. Pollock Family Trailway at Stanley Park Optimist Natural Area, Shirley Dr., ( at Victoria St.), Kitchener, ON
Meet:  1 p.m. at shed at Wing 404 RCAFA Rotary Adult Centre, 510 Dutton Dr., Waterloo, ON
Cost:  $2.00 per session to help cover the towing costs
What to bring:  PFD with whistle attached; dress for weather – fleece, quick dry clothes, rain jacket and pants, gloves, closed toe shoes or boots, hat, water bottle, snack, emergency contact card, tie-on for glasses; bring a change of clothes in case the unthinkable happens (as we are staying in one spot, these dry clothes can be kept in your car for an emergency)
