Canadian Canoe Museum Bus Trip

Background:                                                                                                       The Canadian Canoe Museum (CCM), named one of the best Cultural Spots on National Geographic’s Best of the World 2024, is home to the world’s largest collection of canoes, kayaks, and paddled watercraft. Each canoe holds a story that when put together, collectively tells the history of Canada. The museum’s two-storey, 65,000 square foot, building is a purpose-built facility that houses the collection and activities, helping to preserve history through display, restoration, and appreciation of the canoe. The five-acre site provides stunning west-facing views of Little Lake, a connection to the Trans Canada Trail, and is surrounded by public parks.

If time allows, there’ll be an optional hike around the grounds.
The CCM contains a self-guided exhibition along with a merchandise store and cafe.
