Notes:  This is a scouting trip and new to all of us. Put in and takeout could be a bit rough. There could also be some low spots on the river which will require constant vigilance. Experienced paddlers only!

A big thank you to all those who participated in today’s exciting adventure on the Nith, making it a truly memorable end of the season scouting trip! Special thanks to Wayne for all his diligent pre-trip planning and for leading us, along with his canoeing partner, Justin, through all the twists and turns and challenges as we made our way down the river. Thank you also, to all the rescuers and lunch sharers. It truly was a bonding experience! Armand, thank you for towing, not just today, but all summer long. Finally, a big welcome back to Dianne! You do know how to make a return! Lynn
