Time: 10:00 am
Hike Location:
Marguerite Ormston Trailway Parking Lot
2200 Homer Watson Blvd, Kitchener
(intersection of Homer Watson Blvd & Doon
South Drive)
Duration: 2 hours.

Come join us on this Halloween hike… Your BONES will thank you!

Notes:
We’ll walk by Doon Presbyterian Cemetery, where local artist, Homer Watson, is buried, and maybe stop for a visit.

We will continue on, following a scenic loop hike on the Grand River Trail, winding through century-old maple and beech forest and along the river on trails used by indigenous people since the 1500s.

We’ll loop back past the water treatment plant and the ruins of Doon Grist Mill on Schneider’s Creek, a tributary of the Grand River.

Just down the street is Homer Watson Gallery, home to a number of ghost stories:

See you there…if you dare!
