There IS a difference between Fishing AND Phishing.
Fishing is fun Phishing is not.
I became aware that 2 members have received an email from old salts email asking for money, and its from me, Jaye.
DO NOT answer it as it IS a Phishing scam.
Action: I have changed the google password and make necessary changes as per google flags about our account.
What is a Phishing Scam:
They are rampant right now, especially in our age category our club engages with!
If you receive ANY suspicious emails from Old Salts, especially asking for money, PLEASE ignore them as a phishing scam and report them to me. Old Salts will ONLY send Club related emails to membership.
‘Never a dull moment – thanks for reading this

This is a club favourite on a very picturesque river starting at Sideroad 19 access north of Kimberley. Stop and have our picnic lunch at Heathcote. Take out at Slabtown.
The lower section contains a delightful series of rapids endiing at a dam at Slabtown. This is longer trip that requires stamina and endurance, with moderate rapids and spectacular scenery as we meander north viewing high cliffs and observing flora and fauna.
We stop for lunch at a lovely bend in the river where some can cool off with a swim. This is an all day paddle that usually ends up with an ice cream cone!
This trip does require stamina as it is longer and has a few challenges along the way.
