Green River/Black River (Orillia Area)—Overnight Trip

Itinerary
Tuesday, August 5:
The first afternoon,  we will navigate the Green (Yes, it is green!) River & Black River. This is flat water paddling. There is a small waterfall at one end and nice cottages to enjoy along the river.
We  can follow that with a swim at the beach across the street from the motel. For supper, we will pick a restaurant near the water.

Wednesday, August 6:
The second day, we will check out  and paddle along the shore to Orillia, viewing the huge estates on the water on our way to the Stephen Leacock house for a tour, followed by a picnic lunch.

Our group already has booked 16 rooms at the Lakeside Inn, 86 Creighton St. S., Orillia, 705-325-2514. If you are interested, you need to book your room at the motel asap (if it is not already filled).
You will need to bring 2 lunches and 1 breakfast. There is a fridge in each room.
Email Anne Woolner annewoolner@hotmail.com if you are joining us; please have your room booked before you email.
