Trip:  {Easy Breezy} Speed River – Hespeler Pond

Meet at the shed for 9:00 a.m so we can leave by 9:15 a.m.

Remember to check your email  first thing Thurs. morning before you head out in case of cancellation should there be inclement weather or not enough people sign up for the trip.

Please note that there is construction on Weber St. between Northfield and King St. and the traffic is one way.  To access Dutton Dr., you must come in from Northfield Dr. or Parkside Ave.

Details: Easy Breezy – Open to all members.
Skill Level: Basic  training required

Trip Fee: $6

Please contact   Anne Woolner at 519-743-2277 to preregister for this trip. Spots will be saved on a first come first serve basis. (Only 5 people have signed up so far.)  Fingers crossed that the weather will hold up!

Help please……we need a tower for this trip. Contact Anne if you can help, otherwise the trip will have to be cancelled..

WANTED!!!!!! We need Trip Organizers to organize and lead trips for both the Tuesday and Thursday outings, especially the ones that are blank. Anne has her name beside most of the trips, but would love it if others would step up. If you volunteered on your membership form to be a Trip Organizer, please contact Anne and let her know which trip you’d like to organize (if you haven’t spoken already). We’ve added some of our favourite trips to the schedule, so if you can, consider volunteering or team up with a friend to help organize and lead. If we don’t get anyone to lead these trips, they will be cancelled.

Details: Easy Breezy – Open to all members.  This is an easy flat water paddle.  Great opportunity to reconnect with members you haven’t seen in a while, meet and welcome new members and just enjoy being outdoors and on the water! Good time to practice strokes as well.

Reminders:

1. 1. Covid protocols will still be followed, so bring masks and your own hand sanitizer.
   2. Members must be fully vaccinated
   3. Members should have trip fee prepared in advance of the trip to minimize handling of money.
      • Exact fee only. There will be no change available.
      • Fee must be in a sealed envelope with the name of the participant and the amount of money inside clearly written on the outside for verification purposes.

Note: We will have the hard copies of the Club “Handbook & Club Rules” available to purchase at the shed. This is a beautiful, professionally printed manual for those of you who don’t have printers or would prefer a hard copy to have on hand. The cost of this book is $10 which will go the “Shed Relocation Project” fund. Everything you want to know about the Club is in this book!
