Now that canoe training is finished, club members (especially our new ones!) should be sure to sign up for our popular FUN DAY taking place Tuesday, June 11, at Camp-Ki-Y on beautiful Paradise Lake (west of Waterl00). Directions to follow.
Date & Time: Tuesday, June 11; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
We’ll be treated to breakfast on the waterfront deck, water games in canoes, time to paddle around the lake, a delightful lunch, and swimming after for those who wish.

Paradise Lake Annual Fun Day, June 11, 2024
New and returning members are encouraged to sign up for our popular “Annual Fun Day” taking place Tuesday, June 11, at Camp Ki-Wa-Y on beautiful Paradise Lake (west of Waterloo). We’ll be treated to breakfast on the waterfront deck, canoeing (refresher skills & fun games), a lasagna lunch, and free time for canoeing and swimming.

For Experienced Paddlers Only- Must Have Intermediate training
COST: $8.00 (no envelopes necessary)
Meet at the Canoe Shed, at Wing 4, to leave @ 8:30
Trip Details: This is a longer paddle: 4-4 1/2 hours. There may be a high river flow, depending on the rain. You will have excellent views of the countryside and past 2 golf courses.
Contact (Anne Woolner annewoolner@hotmail.com ) (519-743-2277) to register for this trip. You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your spot. If you don’t receive a confirmation by Wednesday night, please contact the trip leader to make sure you are on the list. If you change your mind or are unable to make it for some reason, please let the Trip Leader know asap as this will affect number of canoes required, partners, etc. Please check your email the morning of the trip in case of cancellation.

OSSCC has been given a grant for First Aid Training
Upon completion of the course, submit your fees to our treasurer (treasurer@oldsaltsclub.com) for reimbursement.
